Section: evidence_dimensions. Criticality: critical.
Which kind of act produced an evidence item: a document was read, a database or IT system was queried, a person was asked, or a test was performed. The four classes are exhaustive for this registry and closed: an absent, non-string or unregistered value makes the enclosing statement malformed. This says nothing about who produced the item, which origin_kind answers, and nothing about the vantage the item was obtained at, which observation_vantage answers. A verifier MUST NOT read test as a substrate-vantage claim: a test performed by the observed party on itself is a test, and its vantage is artifact. A claim assembled from more than one class SHOULD carry the class per item. A single class declared over a mixed set is a statement about the set's weakest member, in the same composition rule observation_vantage uses.
